I’m pleased to report that the audiobook for Murder on the Rhône is now out and available everywhere:
My web store: https://geni.us/uL8SWs (where it’s 15% off until May 30!)

James Gillies did a wonderful job on this, juggling the many different characters and their accents. (Talented narrators like James, and others I use, are why I will not be having robot voices read my books anytime soon. Ok, ever.)
I hope you enjoy the audiobook!
Updates for May
At the moment I am hard at work on the next Leonidas the Gladiator book, Brother at Arms. It’s going slower than I like (what’s new?), but I’m about 1/3 of the way through the draft.
In this book, Leonidas learns things about his deceased friend Xerxes that he’d rather not know, and he suspects Xerxes’ death might not have been as straightforward as it seemed.
I’m happy to be back in Ancient Rome with Leonidas, Cassia, Marcianus, Aemil, and others.

I plan to put Brother at Arms on pre-order in June. I wanted a July release, but because life is slowing me down, I likely won’t hit that date. It would be perfect for an August release, but Murder in Blackfriars (Kat Holloway Book 9, which is on pre-order) is out in August, and I can’t release both in the same month. So, very likely, Brother at Arms will be out in early September. I’ll have a firm pub date when I start the pre-orders. The book will be out in ebook and paperback, and also audio.
I notice I’ve slowed way down on blogging and youtube. I’m trying to devote much more time to writing, and also real life, which keeps throwing things at me. If you live in an older house, you know things are always falling apart and are difficult to repair. If you have or live with someone with a chronic disease, then you understand the challenges of that too.
At the moment, we’ve moved to our summer abode (also an old house that needs lots of upkeep), where I can sit in my sunny office and write books while crows perch in the trees outside and yell in through the window. Inspiring another Stormwalker book, which will come.
Thanks for reading to the end! Enjoy Murder on the Rhone in audio, and I’ll post the pre-order for Brother at Arms soon!
