I’m more than halfway through the draft! The book is taking unexpected turns, which is normal for me. I enjoy watching where the characters want to go.

PS: Yes, it is really my birthday. I’ve decided in the last couple of years to celebrate a birthday *week*. That way if life gets hectic and there’s no time to celebrate on the actual day, any day of that week works just as well. Or every day! I’ve already made one cake (yellow with chocolate frosting and sprinkles). There might be more.
PS2: I don’t believe in not celebrating as we age. Hey, we made it another year! We deserve a party!
